|According to its website: According to PCDataOnline.com, iFriends is the largest and fastest-growing online web conferencing ("videochat") community in the world, and is ranked by audience-metric services such as Nielsen/NetRatings and Ranking.com in the top 200 most popular sites on the internet.
Launched on Valentine's Day, 1998 as a videochat matchmaking service and online chat community for webcam enthusiasts, iFriends has rapidly evolved into a substantial community of diverse interests and content categories, currently numbering more than two million registered users and more than 200,000 registered video "chathosts", hailing from more than 100 different countries.
Log on to the site and you have to search out the part involving dating because there’s so much on the page, but look over to the upper right corner and you’ll see it. Click on it and you can begin to browse for live or archive cams of guys or gals, straight, gay or couples who are looking for someone to chat live with or just have them watch as they perform any number of acts.
You can join the R-rated site and still have some risqué browsing or the X-rated site that will cost from $6.95 to $9.95 month depending on whether you want Club VIP or the Elite group. With the Elite membership, you can watch several cams at once, and you can get zoom vision with both.
They give you detailed instruction on how to be a chathost, which is the same as being a member on any other dating site that doesn’t involve cameras.
I personally find the site too busy and cluttered and the FAQ section isn’t reader friendly, and this isn’t technically a dating site, it’s more of a voyeur’s site, so I don’t’ think it’s the least bit interesting but judging on the merit of what it has to offer, ifriends (which means intimate friends) lives up to its name.
